Switch Between Chat and Projects (Classic)

Learn how to switch between Action Chat and Projects (Classic) in Audiense Action.

 Overview

Audiense Action includes both the conversational Action Chat experience and the report-based Projects (Classic) experience. You can switch between them at any time without affecting your saved conversations or projects.

This allows you to move seamlessly between AI-powered exploration and structured audience reporting whenever your workflow requires it.

Open the Account Menu

  • After signing in to Audiense Action, locate your profile icon in the upper-right corner of the application.

  • Click your profile icon to open the account menu.

Select Your Experience

The account menu displays the experience you are not currently using.

  • If you're currently using Action Chat, you'll see Projects (Classic) as an available option.
  • If you're currently using Projects (Classic), you'll see Chat as an available option.

Click the available option to switch experiences.

Continue Working

  • After switching, Audiense Action will load the selected experience.

  • If you switch to Action Chat, you can begin a new conversation or continue previous chats.

  • If you switch to Projects (Classic), you can create new projects or continue working with your existing reports.

  • Your conversations and projects remain available within their respective experiences.

When Should I Switch?

You may want to switch experiences depending on the task you're working on.

Consider using Action Chat when you want to:

  • Explore new audience ideas.
  • Ask follow-up questions.
  • Compare brands.
  • Test creative assets.
  • Generate campaign briefs or summaries.

Consider using Projects (Classic) when you want to:

  • Create structured audience reports.
  • Review detailed audience insights.
  • Export reports.
  • Activate audiences through integrations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does switching experiences delete my work?

No. Your conversations and projects are stored independently. Switching between experiences does not remove or overwrite your existing work.

Can I switch back at any time?

Yes. You can switch between Action Chat and Projects (Classic) whenever needed.

Is one experience replacing the other?

Action Chat is the default experience for Audiense Action. Projects (Classic) remains available and can be accessed through the account menu.
