Creating a TikTok Insights Report From Uploaded User Lists
Learn how to create TikTok Insights reports by uploading TikTok user lists within Audiense Insights for audience enrichment, segmentation, and analysis workflows.
Overview
Follow this article to learn how to create TikTok Insights reports using uploaded TikTok user lists.
The Upload your audience method allows users to bring their own predefined audience into Audiense rather than manually defining audiences using filters and attributes. This workflow is useful when the audience has already been identified through another system or workflow, such as:
- Social listening tools
- CRM exports
- Internal audience databases
- Third-party audience sources
Supported Upload Types:
The currently supported upload type is TikTok User IDs. Uploaded files must contain TikTok user IDs that Audiense can use to retrieve and enrich profile information.
Supported File Formats:
Supported upload formats include:
- .txt
- .csv
- .tsv
Each row within the uploaded file should contain a single TikTok user ID.
What Happens After Upload:
After the audience file is uploaded, Audiense processes the audience automatically.
This process includes:
- Deduplicating the audience so each user appears only once
- Resolving TikTok IDs to profile data
- Enriching profiles using available audience signals
- Segmenting the audience into clusters for analysis
The same segmentation and enrichment workflows used for attribute-based audiences are also applied to uploaded user lists.
Audience Requirements:
Uploaded audiences must contain at least 100 unique TikTok users. Duplicate users are automatically removed during processing. Larger uploaded audiences generally provide richer audience insights and more reliable segmentation results.
Single Social Network Limitation:
Each TikTok Insights report analyzes a single social network only. If you want to analyze audiences from both TikTok and X (Twitter), separate reports must be created for each platform.
