Refresh the Content Tab in an Audience Insights Report

Learn how to refresh the Content tab in an Audience Insights report to view the most recent shared and influential content from your audience.

Overview

The Content tab provides insight into the content your audience is sharing and engaging with. By default, the information displayed is based on the 30-day period leading up to the creation of the report.

If you want to view more recent content, you can refresh the Content tab. Refreshing updates the available content using the most recent 30-day period while preserving the rest of the report.

Content Date Range

The current reporting period is displayed in the upper-right corner of the Content tab. By default, this date range represents the 30 days prior to when the report was generated. After refreshing the Content tab, the displayed date range updates to reflect the most recent 30-day period available at the time of the refresh.

Refresh the Content Tab

You can refresh the following sections of the Content tab:

  • Shared Content
  • Influential Content

To refresh the content:

  1. Open your Audience Insights report.
  2. Navigate to the Content tab.
  3. Select Refresh.
  4. Wait for the refresh process to complete.

The report will update these sections using audience activity from the latest available 30-day period.

Note

The Content tab can only be refreshed once every 48 hours. Until that period has elapsed, the Refresh button remains unavailable.

How Baselines Affect Content

Changing the comparison baseline does not affect the content displayed in the Content tab. This is because the Content tab is generated from the activity of the audience or cluster currently being viewed, rather than from the selected comparison audience. As you switch between the Full Audience and individual clusters, the displayed content will update to reflect the activity of the selected audience segment.

Liked Content

New Audience Insights reports no longer include a Liked Content section. This change reflects updates to the X platform that made users' Likes private. As a result, Audiense can no longer generate liked content insights for newly created reports. Older reports that were generated before this platform change may still display a Liked Content section. However, if one of these reports is regenerated, the Liked Content section will be removed. The Shared Content and Influential Content sections continue to be available and are unaffected by this change.
