Overview
Follow this guide to learn how to use the Members View in an Audiense Insights report.
The Members View provides a sample of the individual profiles that make up your selected audience or audience segment. Reviewing these profiles can help validate your audience definition, better understand who your audience consists of, and confirm that audience segments have been accurately identified and named.
In addition to displaying profile information, the Members View provides quick access to each member's social profiles and includes actions for exporting members or sending them to Audiense Connect.
Understanding the Members View
The Members View displays a representative sample of the profiles contained within a selected audience or audience segment. Rather than relying solely on aggregated insights and visualizations, this view allows you to examine actual audience members to better understand the people represented by your report. Reviewing individual profiles can provide additional context that supports your overall audience analysis.
Why Use the Members View?
The Members View is commonly used to validate audience analysis and confirm that audience segments accurately represent the intended audience.
By reviewing sample profiles, you can:
- Verify that the audience contains the expected types of users.
- Better understand who belongs to a specific audience segment.
- Confirm that segment names accurately reflect the characteristics of the audience.
- Explore individual profiles for additional context.
Each member also includes links to their available social profiles, allowing you to learn more about them or engage with them across supported platforms.
Access the Members View
You can open the Members View directly from your Insights report by selecting the Members link. Once opened, you'll be presented with a sample of the audience members associated with the selected audience or cluster.
Available Actions
The Members View includes an Actions menu that provides additional options for working with your audience data.
Export All Members
Select Export All Members to generate an XLS file containing information about the audience members displayed within the report. This export can be used for additional analysis or external workflows.
Add Members to an Audience in Audiense Connect
Select Add These Report Members to an Audience in Connect to send the selected audience members to Audiense Connect. This option allows you to:
- Create a new audience in Audiense Connect.
- Add members to an existing audience.
- Merge audiences for additional analysis.
- Prepare audiences for X Ads targeting.
