# Organise your Reports with Folders
### **Organise your reports with Folders**
Use folders to group your reports by client, campaign or pitch, whatever their method or source. A report can be in several folders, and you can share a folder with everyone in your account.
### **Open Folders**
In the sidebar, click Folders. A panel opens with:
- All folders: opens the Folders page, where you can search and manage your folders.
- New folder: creates a folder.
- Your folders, grouped under Created by you and Shared with you, with the number of reports in each.
The Folders page lists every folder you can open, with its number of reports, last update, visibility (Shared or Private) and who created it.
If you don't have any folders yet, the page shows No folders yet and a Create your first folder button.
### **Create a folder**
1. Click New folder in the Folders panel or on the Folders page (or Create your first folder).
2. Enter a Name and, if you want, a Description.
3. To let everyone in your account open it, turn on Share with my account. You can change this later.
4. Click Create folder.
The new folder opens, ready for you to add reports.
### **Add reports to a folder**
You can add reports from four places:
From All reports, several at once. Select the reports, click the Add to folder icon at the top of the list, choose one or more folders and click Add.
To put them in a new folder, click New folder…, enter its name and click Create and add.
If you don't have any folders yet, the window asks you to name one, and creates it with the reports inside.
From a report's menu. In All reports, click ⋮ next to the report and select Add to folder.
From inside a report. At the top of the report, under its name, click Add to folder. The folders the report is in are shown next to it; click ✕ on one to take the report out of that folder.
From a folder. Open the folder, click Add reports, search for the reports by name, select them and click Add. Reports that are already in the folder are marked *Already in this folder*.
### **Work with the reports in a folder**
A folder shows its reports in the same table as All reports: name, source, method, audience size, creation date and creator. Click a report to open it.
To remove a report from the folder, click the remove icon in its Actions column. To remove several at once, select them and click Remove from this folder. The report is only removed from the folder: it stays in All reports and in any other folder it's in.
### **Share a folder with your account**
A new folder is private: only you can see it. To share it, open the folder and turn on Share with my account. Everyone in your account can then open the folder and its reports. To stop sharing it, turn the toggle off.
### **Folders shared with you**
Folders that others share with you appear under Shared with you in the Folders panel.
You can open them and their reports, but only the person who created the folder can change it. The folder shows who shared it, and you won't see the Add reports button, the sharing toggle or the remove icons.
In the folder's ⋮ menu, Edit and Delete are disabled and show who can use them.
### **Manage several folders at once**
On the Folders page, select the folders you created and choose Share with my account, Make private or Delete. Folders shared with you can't be selected.
### **Edit or delete a folder**
Click ⋮ next to the folder name and select Edit to change its name or description, or Delete to delete it. Deleting a folder doesn't delete its reports.
### **FAQs**
**Can a report be in more than one folder?**
Yes, add it to as many folders as you need.
**How many reports can a folder hold?**
Up to 500.
**What happens if a report in a folder is deleted?**
It stays in the folder marked as *Deleted*, with the date it was deleted, and it can't be opened anymore.
**Who can see a shared folder?**
Everyone in your Audiense account. Only the person who created it can change it.
